We believe music education is extremely important, however, not everyone has the opportunity to attend a well-equipped music college or University. We also believe that the traditional ways of learning are not suited to everyone’s needs.
At Bassment Studios we have state of the art facilities that are accessible to anyone who is interested in developing a career in the music industry and to improve their skills.
Bassment Unplugged has been designed to give students the best possible learning experience. With our ‘pick and mix’ option students will be able to choose the subjects they learn, unlike traditional courses, which focus on set curriculums that might contain modules of no relevance to a student’s needs. Our provision provides a flexibility that will enable individuals to build skills relevant to their goals.
Bassment Unplugged plan to offer 1-2-1 or group mentoring/tutoring sessions (now available), interesting and inspiring events, masterclasses, seminars and online courses all designed and hosted by industry professionals with years of experience.

SARAH HUTTON
Sarah is a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional who has spent the best part of thirty years working in the business sector of the Music Industry. For twenty-one of those years she also taught future artists, musicians, producers and DJs about the music business at Kirklees College. Her areas of expertise are the record industry, music publishing, artist management, contracts, copyright and rights in the music industry, marketing and promotion, event management and artist/band business development.
SHAUN DEAN
Shaun Dean a professional DJ & Music producer with over 13 Years experience in the music industry is a staple name within the underground Bassline scene. Shaun works actively in the music industry DJ’ing around the UK & internationally every week, as well as producing music on a daily basis. Possessing 13 years of knowledge has its benefits, as well as a household name in the industry; Shaun is a qualified Music technology tutor, specialising in DJ Technology, Music Production, Social Media Promotion and Events Management.
As professional working in the music industry for such a long time Shaun has developed impeccable knowledge of software and equipment. Shaun has also accumulated a large database of personal achievements and accolades during this time. Here is a brief list of some of them.
